Hey guys, I'm Kirin. I'm in CAP 10, Class of 2015, and am looking forward to learning more about film! I'm particularly interested in the behind the scenes aspects of filming. So much effort and time goes into making the set, setting the shots, making sure the lighting and audio is correct, and making sure all props and characters look as they should. I'd like to delve deeper into how the pre-filming process takes place. Some of my favorite film projects from the past have been: The Infoflow opening in 9th grade, and the New York documentary at Eastern. I enjoyed the Infoflow opening because me and my partner were responsible for everything in the process, from the original idea, to the editing and exporting. I loved being able to have that much creative freedom. For the New York documentary, my partner and I got to make the story out of our own experiences. I think that process was totally unique, as we conducted the interview used, and took the the B-Roll. We did every job for this project too, including making a transcribing the interview. I'd like to use this blog to:
-Share my exeriences througout my CAP and Highschool life
-Raise awarness of issues facing animals(regarding my change project)
-Explore articles relating to my topics of interest
